We review your drawings, specifications, and production requirements up front, then recommend the manufacturing approach that fits. Depending on the component, that may be casting, forging, machining, hydraulic manufacturing, or a combination of several.
Matching the Component to the Right Process
Not every part should be made the same way. A component that works well as a casting may perform better forged in a higher-stress application. Others need secondary machining after the initial process to reach their final dimensions and finish.
Custom Casting
Casting suits components with complex geometry or internal features that would be difficult and expensive to machine from solid. We support custom metal casting across a range of industrial applications, working in ductile iron, grey iron, malleable iron, bronze, aluminum, and steel.
Custom Forging
Forging is the stronger option when a component has to survive impact, fatigue, and heavy cyclic loading. We produce custom forged components for equipment operating in demanding environments where failure is expensive.
CNC Machining
Machining delivers the precise dimensions, threads, bores, holes, and mating surfaces that cast and forged parts often still need. BMF Industrial coordinates CNC machining as part of the overall production process, so components arrive closer to installation-ready.

Moving From Prototype to Production
The step from drawing to full-scale production is where most problems surface and where they are cheapest to fix.
Before larger quantities run, we coordinate samples, prototypes, or an initial production run so you can verify the component meets expectations. That process typically involves reviewing drawings and specifications, evaluating manufacturing methods, developing tooling, producing first articles, inspecting and verifying them, making adjustments, and only then moving into full production.
Catching a tooling issue on a sample costs a revision. Catching it after 2,000 parts have shipped costs considerably more.
Quality Control Throughout Production
Quality control is not a final gate. It has to be built into each stage.
Industrial components, hydraulic components in particular, need to hold specific dimensional, material, and performance requirements consistently. When they don't, the result is rework, delayed equipment, or a rejected shipment.
We work with customers and manufacturing partners on inspection throughout production, including dimensional checks, visual inspection, material verification, production sampling, specification reviews, and final product inspection. The exact process depends on the component and your requirements, but the objective doesn't change: problems get caught before the shipment does.
